Colorblocking is back in fashion!
The main idea of the season is to play with color!
After the gloomy autumn and winter seasons, the shows in Paris and Milan literally exploded with bright color combinations. The designers offered the most unexpected duets — orange with turquoise, lemon with lavender, rich green with fuchsia. Orange became the flagship color — it was used both in total bows and in the format of an accent color block. Balenciaga, Valentino, Loewe, Miu Miu and Chanel in Paris were particularly noted — their heroines bravely experimented with color squares, sometimes building an image on contrast, sometimes on the harmony of the brightest shades. In Milan, attention was focused on Bottega Veneta, Ferragamo and Prada, where colorblocking has become not only a style, but also a way to express oneself.

Arctic Blue, Moss Green, Munsell Red and Sangria are popular in Milan. Gucci has opted for dark green, combining it with pastel shades (blue, yellow), bright orange and elegant. Natural and saturated tones are actively used, as well as — functionality combined with elegance.
Bold color blocking dominates in Paris — saturated contrasting shades: ochre, khaki, orange. Color becomes a challenge to the gray of the season, used emotionally and boldly: Chanel, Saint Laurent and other brands play on bright duets, emphasizing individuality.
Combinations
Italian designers often balance between a calm palette and bright accents, combining structured objects with soft details. Gorpcore is combined with metallic elements and pastel colors — the images are harmonious, but modernly daring at mastersexpo.
French brands mix rich contrasting colors: coral with olive, amethyst with terracotta. An atmosphere of retro and maximalism is being formed, each color pair is a separate accent. Mixes are created for the sake of emotion, not harmony.
